Tender lasagna noodles are filled with a savory mix of shrimp, crab meat, and ricotta cheese, then baked in a rich Alfredo sauce and topped with mozzarella and Parmesan for a golden, bubbly finish.
Ingredients
Seafood Filling
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup crab meat, shredded
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Roll Ups & Sauce
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking the roll ups evenly.
- Cook Noodles: Boil the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions till al dente, then drain and set aside on a flat surface to cool slightly for easier handling.
- Prepare Seafood Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, shredded crab meat, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Assemble Roll Ups: Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish to prevent sticking. Lay out each lasagna noodle, spoon a portion of the seafood mixture onto one end, then carefully roll the noodle tightly and place it seam-side down in the dish.
- Add Sauce and Cheese: Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce evenly over the top of the arranged roll ups. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese generously over the sauce for a deliciously cheesy crust.
- Bake Covered: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes to allow flavors to meld and the roll ups to heat through.
- Uncover and Brown: Remove the foil and continue baking uncovered for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown on top.
Notes
- Use fresh or thawed seafood for best flavor.
- Make sure to drain noodles well to prevent watery roll ups.
- Try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the seafood mixture for some heat.
- Let the dish rest for 5 minutes after baking to set before serving.
- Leftovers can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
