Description

Pink Oreo Truffle Hearts are deliciously creamy, no-bake treats made by combining crumbled chocolate sandwich cookies and cream cheese, shaped into heart molds, and coated with vibrant pink candy melts. Perfect for Valentine’s Day or any special occasion, these sweet truffles are decorated with festive sprinkles for a fun and festive touch.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 36 chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreos)
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 2 cups pink candy melts
  • Valentine sprinkles, for decoration
  • Silicone heart mold (for shaping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cookie mixture: Pulse the 36 chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor until you achieve fine crumbs. Transfer the crumbs to a bowl and mix thoroughly with 8 ounces of softened cream cheese until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  2. Shape the truffles: Lightly grease a silicone heart mold to prevent sticking, then press the cookie and cream cheese mixture firmly into each cavity. Level the tops for an even shape. Freeze the mold for 20–30 minutes to set the mixture solidly.
  3. Melt the candy coating: While the truffles are chilling, melt 2 cups of pink candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl using 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between, until the candy is smooth and fully melted.
  4. Coat the truffles: Once set, gently pop each heart-shaped truffle out of the mold. Using a fork, dip each truffle into the melted pink candy melts, tapping off any excess coating. Place the coated truffles onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Decorate and set: Immediately sprinkle Valentine-themed sprinkles over the wet candy coating so they stick. Allow the truffles to set at room temperature until the candy coating hardens, approximately 15-20 minutes.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easier mixing.
  • If you don’t have a silicone heart mold, you can shape the mixture into balls and coat them similarly.
  • Use parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent truffles from sticking while setting.
  • Store finished truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • To melt candy melts evenly, avoid overheating and stir frequently.
