Description

Giggle Juice is a refreshing and delightful cocktail perfect for hot summer nights, combining the sweetness of moscato and pink lemonade with a zesty lemon vodka kick, fresh berries, and a fizzy finish of Sprite. This easy-to-make beverage is designed to serve a crowd and bring a splash of happiness to any party.

Ingredients

Drink Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (optional)
  • 2 cups lemon vodka
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle Moscato d’Asti (sparkling Moscato) or Prosecco
  • 3 cups pink lemonade
  • 2 (7.5 ounces) cans Sprite
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 lemon, sliced then quartered
  • Ice, as needed

Garnish

  • 1 lemon, cut in wedges
  • 2 tablespoons (1/4 cup) granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the lemon vodka: Whisk 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar into the 2 cups of lemon vodka until the sugar is fully dissolved, enhancing the lemony sweetness of the vodka.
  2. Mix the cocktail: In a large pitcher, combine the lemon vodka mixture, bottle of Moscato d’Asti or Prosecco, pink lemonade, Sprite, sliced strawberries, raspberries, and lemon quarters. Stir gently to blend the flavors together.
  3. Add ice: Fill the pitcher with ample ice to chill the drink thoroughly and keep it refreshingly cold.
  4. Prepare the glass rims: Pour 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar onto a small shallow plate. Rub the rims of individual glasses with lemon wedges, then dip the rims into the sugar to create a sweet, citrusy sugar coating.
  5. Serve: Pour the prepared cocktail into the sugar-rimmed glasses and garnish with additional lemon wedges if desired. Enjoy immediately for best flavor and chill.

Notes

  • Using Moscato d’Asti or Prosecco adds a lovely bubbly sweetness to the drink but Prosecco will give a drier taste if preferred.
  • The granulated sugar in the lemon vodka is optional and can be adjusted based on your sweetness preference.
  • Fresh berries add both flavor and visual appeal; freeze the fruit beforehand for an extra chilled effect without diluting the drink.
  • Adjust the amount of Sprite for less or more sweetness and carbonation according to taste.
  • This recipe makes approximately 10 servings, perfect for summer parties and gatherings.
