Description

This Fresh Tomato Salsa is a quick and vibrant condiment made from ripe tomatoes, onion, jalapeños, and fresh cilantro, brightened with lime juice and enhanced with garlic-infused olive oil and sea salt. Ready in just 10 minutes, it’s perfect for dipping, topping tacos, or adding a burst of freshness to any dish.

Ingredients

Fresh Ingredients

  • 3 large tomatoes (diced)
  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1 – 2 jalapeños (chopped, adjust to heat preference)
  • Fresh cilantro (chopped, to taste)
  • 1 lime (juiced)

Other

  • 1 tablespoon garlic infused olive oil
  • Sea salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients. In a large bowl, add the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, chopped jalapeños, and chopped fresh cilantro. Pour in the lime juice and garlic-infused olive oil.
  2. Mix and season. Stir all the ingredients thoroughly until they are well blended. Taste the salsa and adjust the sea salt or lime juice as needed to suit your preference.

Notes

  • For a milder salsa, remove the seeds from the jalapeños before chopping.
  • Use fresh, ripe tomatoes for the best flavor.
  • This salsa is best served fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
  • Customize the heat level by adjusting the amount of jalapeño.
  • Garlic-infused olive oil adds subtle garlic flavor without raw garlic’s pungency; substitute with regular olive oil if unavailable.
