Description
Unicorn Lemonade is a fun and vibrant twist on a classic summer drink, bringing a magical burst of color and flavor to your glass. Perfect for parties or any celebration.
Ingredients
3 cups water
Pink food coloring
Purple food coloring
Teal food coloring
2 tablespoons corn syrup
Unicorn sprinkles or pink, purple, and gold sprinkles
1.5 cups granulated white sugar
9 cups of water
1.5 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice (20–24 lemons)
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine 9 cups of water and 1.5 cups of sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and allow it to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, add the fresh squeezed lemon juice and stir to combine.
- In separate small bowls, mix 3 cups of water with each of the food colors: pink, purple, and teal. Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl to achieve the desired color.
- Start by pouring a small amount of one color into the bottom of your glass or pitcher. Follow with the other colors, creating a layered effect. Alternate between colors for extra fun.
- Drizzle 2 tablespoons of corn syrup into the drink mixture to add sweetness and create a beautiful swirl effect in the glass.
- Fill glasses with ice, pour the layered lemonade over it, and garnish with unicorn sprinkles or a mix of pink, purple, and gold sprinkles.
Notes
Store leftover lemonade in the fridge for 2-3 days.
For a fizzy twist, use sparkling water or club soda.
To reduce sweetness, use less sugar or a sugar substitute.
Store the lemonade and colored water separately to maintain vibrant colors.
Can be made ahead of time, just layer and garnish when ready to serve.
