Description

Soft dough pockets stuffed with gooey cheese, topped with crispy pepperoni and herbs—perfectly poppable pizza bites for parties or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 8 string cheese sticks, cut into thirds
  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (about 16 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 24 slices mini pepperoni (or regular pepperoni cut smaller)
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out pizza dough and cut into 24 equal squares.
  3. Place one piece of cheese in the center of each square. Fold and pinch edges to seal into a bite-sized packet.
  4. Arrange bites seam-side down on the prepared sheet.
  5. Brush tops with melted butter, sprinkle with Italian seasoning, and press one pepperoni slice onto each.
  6. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Immediately sprinkle with Parmesan and serve warm with marinara.

Notes

  • Customize fillings: swap pepperoni for cooked sausage crumbles or diced veggies.
  • Use mozzarella cubes instead of string cheese for a different melt.
  • Brush with garlic butter instead of plain butter for extra flavor.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the seasoning for heat.
