Description

Ingredients

1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling

1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Pour strawberry pie filling into the dish and spread into an even layer.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the pie filling, spreading gently to cover.
  5. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer—do not stir.
  6. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix, aiming for full coverage; tap the dish gently to settle any dry spots.
