Description
Spiked Cherry Limeade is a vibrant, sweet-tart cocktail made with tart cherry juice, fresh lime juice, vodka, and fizzy soda water. It’s quick to prepare, perfect for parties, and can easily be turned into a non-alcoholic mocktail.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups tart cherry juice (not from concentrate)
¼ cup simple syrup or agave (adjust to taste)
½ cup fresh lime juice (about 4–5 limes)
1 cup limeade (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup vodka
2 cans (12 oz each) soda water (club soda or seltzer)
Crushed ice, for serving
Lime wedges and fresh cherries, for garnish
Coarse sugar, for rimming the glasses (optional)
Instructions
- Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass and dip into coarse sugar if desired.
- In a large pitcher, combine cherry juice, lime juice, limeade, vodka, and simple syrup. Stir well.
- Just before serving, add the soda water and stir gently to preserve the fizz.
- Fill glasses with crushed ice and pour the cocktail over the top.
- Garnish with lime wedges and fresh cherries. Serve immediately.
Notes
Substitute vodka with silver tequila for a margarita-style punch.
Leave out vodka for a delicious mocktail version.
Use lime-flavored sparkling water for an extra citrus kick.
Add unsweetened cranberry juice for more tartness.
Mix the base (without soda water) ahead and refrigerate up to 24 hours.
