Ingredients
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup mini peanut butter cups, chopped
1 cup chocolate chips
½ cup butter, melted
1 cup chopped Reese’s or other peanut butter candies
Chocolate syrup (optional, for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Scatter chopped peanut butter cups and chocolate chips evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over the candy layer, covering as much as possible.
- Drop spoonfuls of creamy peanut butter atop the layers; it will melt and spread during baking.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over everything without stirring.
- Pour melted butter in an even stream over the cake mix, ensuring all dry spots are moistened.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden brown, bubbling, and the cake mix is cooked through.
- Let rest for about 10 minutes before slicing to allow the layers to settle.
Notes
No need to stir layers; the oven does the mixing for a crisp topping.
Let the cake rest 10 minutes before slicing to set the filling.
Customize with different candies or nuts for variation.
Drizzle with chocolate syrup or caramel before serving for extra indulgence.
