Description

One Pan Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a creamy, comforting meal made in a single skillet. Juicy seared chicken is paired with tender pasta in a velvety garlic-Parmesan sauce—perfect for busy weeknights or cozy dinners with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

8 oz penne or rotini pasta

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups low-sodium chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cups fresh spinach (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear chicken in the skillet for about 6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add uncooked pasta and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes creamy.
  6. Slice rested chicken and return it to the skillet. Stir in spinach (if using) until wilted and everything is heated through.
  7. Serve warm with extra Parmesan on top if desired.

Notes

Swap chicken for shrimp or sausage for a flavorful variation.

Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.

Add sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, or red pepper flakes for extra flavor.

Use vegetable broth and skip the chicken for a vegetarian version.

Store leftovers up to 3 days and reheat with a splash of broth or water.
