Description

Maple Glazed Apple and Brie Stuffed Chicken Delight is a sweet and savory showstopper made with juicy chicken breasts filled with creamy brie and sautéed apples, all baked in a rich maple-Dijon glaze. It’s easy to prepare but elegant enough for special occasions.


Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 oz brie cheese, sliced

1 large apple (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith), thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create a pocket, without cutting all the way through.
  3. Sauté apple slices in olive oil or butter for 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. Stuff each chicken breast with a few apple slices and brie. Secure with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
  5. Season outside of chicken with salt and pepper.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and garlic.
  7. Place stuffed chicken in a baking dish, pour glaze over the top, and cover with foil.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until chicken is cooked through and glaze is caramelized.
  9. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Use pears instead of apples for a different fruit note.

Add chopped pecans or walnuts to stuffing for crunch.

Swap brie with camembert or goat cheese for variety.

Wrap chicken in prosciutto for added saltiness and flavor.

Reduce extra glaze on the stovetop to drizzle over sides.
