Description

This Limoncello Sangria is a citrusy, refreshing take on classic sangria, blending sweet Italian limoncello, crisp white wine, and fresh fruits for a drink that’s bright, zesty, and perfect for warm-weather entertaining or casual sipping.

Ingredients

1 bottle dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)

1/2 cup limoncello liqueur

1 lemon, thinly sliced

1 orange, thinly sliced

1 cup fresh strawberries or raspberries

1 cup sparkling water or lemon soda

Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine and limoncello.
  2. Add the sliced lemon, orange, and berries. Stir gently.
  3. Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Just before serving, add sparkling water or lemon soda for a fizzy finish.
  5. Serve over ice with extra fruit slices for garnish.

Notes

Use prosecco instead of still white wine for a sparkling twist.

Add orange juice or peach nectar for extra sweetness.

Use different fruits like peaches, pineapple, or blueberries for variety.

Make a mocktail version using white grape juice and lemon syrup.

Store sangria chilled and add fizz just before serving to maintain sparkle.
