Description
Lavender Honey Iced Coffee is a soothing and elegant drink combining strong brewed coffee with a floral lavender honey syrup and creamy milk. It’s refreshing, aromatic, and perfect for a peaceful morning or stylish brunch.
Ingredients
1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
2 tablespoons lavender honey syrup (adjust to taste)
½ cup milk or milk alternative
Ice cubes
1 tablespoon culinary-grade dried lavender flowers (for syrup + garnish)
¼ cup honey (for syrup)
½ cup water (for syrup)
Instructions
- Brew a strong cup of coffee and refrigerate until fully cooled.
- To make the lavender honey syrup, combine honey, water, and dried lavender in a small saucepan. Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and steep for 20 minutes. Strain and cool the syrup.
- Fill two tall glasses with ice. Pour half the cold coffee into each glass.
- Add 1 tablespoon (or more) of lavender honey syrup to each glass.
- Pour ¼ cup milk or milk alternative into each glass and stir gently.
- Garnish with a sprig of lavender or lemon twist and serve immediately.
Notes
Use oat milk or coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
Maple syrup or agave can substitute honey for a vegan syrup.
A drop of food-grade lavender extract can replace dried lavender if needed (use sparingly).
Use coffee ice cubes to avoid dilution.
Store extra syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
