Description

Lavender Honey Iced Coffee is a soothing and elegant drink combining strong brewed coffee with a floral lavender honey syrup and creamy milk. It’s refreshing, aromatic, and perfect for a peaceful morning or stylish brunch.


Ingredients

1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled

2 tablespoons lavender honey syrup (adjust to taste)

½ cup milk or milk alternative

Ice cubes

1 tablespoon culinary-grade dried lavender flowers (for syrup + garnish)

¼ cup honey (for syrup)

½ cup water (for syrup)


Instructions

  1. Brew a strong cup of coffee and refrigerate until fully cooled.
  2. To make the lavender honey syrup, combine honey, water, and dried lavender in a small saucepan. Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and steep for 20 minutes. Strain and cool the syrup.
  3. Fill two tall glasses with ice. Pour half the cold coffee into each glass.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon (or more) of lavender honey syrup to each glass.
  5. Pour ¼ cup milk or milk alternative into each glass and stir gently.
  6. Garnish with a sprig of lavender or lemon twist and serve immediately.

Notes

Use oat milk or coconut milk for a dairy-free version.

Maple syrup or agave can substitute honey for a vegan syrup.

A drop of food-grade lavender extract can replace dried lavender if needed (use sparingly).

Use coffee ice cubes to avoid dilution.

Store extra syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
