Description
These irresistible crab crescent bites are a quick and crowd-pleasing appetizer made with creamy crab filling wrapped in flaky crescent dough and baked to golden perfection. Ideal for parties, gatherings, or a special snack.
Ingredients
2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup cooked crab meat (fresh, canned, or imitation)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, green onions, parsley, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Gently fold in crab meat to keep it chunky.
- Open crescent roll cans and separate dough into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of crab filling on the wide end of each triangle, then roll up and tuck in sides to seal.
- Arrange bites seam side down on baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Add Old Bay seasoning or shredded cheddar for extra flavor.
Substitute shrimp or tuna for crab meat.
Include hot sauce or jalapeño for heat.
Fresh dill or chives are great herb alternatives.
Freeze unbaked for later and bake directly from freezer.
