Description

Garlic Butter Steak Bites with a Rich Parmesan Cream Sauce combine tender, juicy steak cubes with a luscious, creamy Parmesan sauce. This dish is quick and easy to prepare, making it perfect for a comforting and flavorful dinner in under 30 minutes. The steak is seared to perfection in garlic butter, then topped with a smooth, cheesy cream sauce that enhances every bite.

Ingredients

For the Steak Bites

  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

For the Parmesan Cream Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Prep the steak: Pat your steak cubes dry using paper towels and season them generously with salt and pepper to ensure a flavorful crust during cooking.
  2. Sear the steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes in batches, searing them for 2 to 3 minutes per side until they develop a nice brown crust. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the garlic butter: Reduce the skillet heat to medium. Melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter in the skillet, then add the minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant, making sure not to burn it. Return the steak bites to the pan and toss them to coat evenly in the garlic butter.
  4. Prepare the Parmesan cream sauce: In a separate saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add finely minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Remove from heat and stir in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes to taste.
  5. Serve: Pour the creamy Parmesan sauce over the garlic butter steak bites or serve it on the side. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired, and serve the dish immediately while hot and flavorful.

Notes

  • Storage Tips: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days to maintain freshness.
  • Reheating Tips: Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of cream or milk to loosen the sauce and keep it creamy.
  • Variations: Enhance the dish by adding sautéed mushrooms, fresh spinach, or crispy bacon for extra flavor and texture.
