Description

Garlic Butter Lobster Tails are an elegant, easy-to-make seafood dish featuring tender lobster broiled with a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for special occasions or indulgent weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

4 lobster tails

1/2 cup unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Chopped parsley, for garnish

Lemon wedges, for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler and position the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the center to the base.
  3. Gently pull apart the shell and lift the lobster meat to rest on top of the shell.
  4. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and stir in garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 1 minute.
  5. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush generously with garlic butter.
  6. Broil for 8–10 minutes until the meat is opaque and slightly browned on top.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges and extra melted butter if desired.

Notes

Add cayenne or chili flakes to the butter for heat.

Include a splash of white wine in the garlic butter for depth.

Use Parmesan or fresh herbs like thyme for extra richness or flavor.

Grill the lobster tails instead of broiling if preferred.
