Description

Creamy Kielbasa Broccoli Skillet is a rich, flavorful one-pan dinner made with smoky sausage, tender broccoli, and a cheesy cream sauce. Ready in just 30 minutes, it’s the perfect quick and comforting weeknight meal.

Ingredients

14 oz kielbasa sausage, sliced into rounds

4 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

2 oz cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)

1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté kielbasa slices until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add olive oil or butter to the skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add broccoli florets and cook for 3–4 minutes, adding a splash of chicken broth to steam until tender-crisp.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and remaining chicken broth. Stir in cream cheese (if using) until melted and smooth.
  5. Return kielbasa to the skillet and simmer for a few minutes, letting the sauce thicken.
  6. Stir in shredded cheese until creamy and well combined.
  7. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Swap broccoli with cauliflower, spinach, or green beans.

Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter option.

Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread for a heartier meal.

Add smoked paprika for extra depth and smokiness.

Mix in sun-dried tomatoes or mushrooms for added richness.
