Description
Chocolate Bliss Balls are no-bake, fudgy, and naturally sweetened treats made with dates, nuts, cocoa, and nut butter. They taste like chocolate truffles but are healthier, gluten-free, and perfect for snacking or meal prep.
Ingredients
1 cup pitted Medjool dates
1 cup raw almonds (or cashews, walnuts, or pecans)
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons peanut butter or almond butter
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional Coatings: shredded coconut, crushed nuts, cocoa powder, or melted dark chocolate
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse nuts until finely ground.
- Add dates, cocoa powder, nut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla, and salt. Blend until mixture is sticky and holds together.
- If mixture is too dry, add 1 teaspoon water; if too wet, add extra cocoa or nuts.
- Roll mixture into 1-inch balls.
- Coat balls in shredded coconut, crushed nuts, or cocoa powder if desired.
- Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Add mini chocolate chips or drizzle with melted dark chocolate for extra indulgence.
Mix in chia seeds or flaxseeds for added nutrition.
Roll in sprinkles or dip in white chocolate for a festive touch.
Store in fridge up to 1 week or freeze up to 2 months.
Great for kids to help with rolling and decorating.
