Description

Flaky crescent rolls filled with a creamy mozzarella–cream cheese blend, brushed with garlicky butter, and baked to golden perfection for an irresistible appetizer or side.

Ingredients

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 triangles)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup cream cheese, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon parsley until smooth.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Place about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll each triangle toward the point, tucking the edges to seal.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic powder, and remaining parsley.
  6. Brush each roll generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until rolls are golden brown and cheese is melted inside.
  8. Let cool 2–3 minutes, then serve warm with extra garlic butter or marinara for dipping.

Notes

Make-Ahead: Assemble and refrigerate (covered) up to 8 hours before baking; add 1–2 minutes to bake time if dough is cold.

Freeze & Reheat: Bake fully, cool completely, freeze in a single layer, then reheat at 350 °F for 5–7 minutes until crisp.

Cheese Variations: Substitute sharp cheddar, pepper jack, or a three-cheese blend for different flavors.

Herb Twist: Add a pinch of dried oregano or basil to the garlic butter for extra aroma.

Dipping Sauces: Serve with warm marinara, ranch, or extra garlic butter on the side.
