Description

This Blueberry Lavender Gin cocktail blends fruity sweetness and floral elegance into a refreshing drink that’s both easy to prepare and impressively sophisticated. With muddled blueberries, lavender syrup, and a splash of gin, it’s perfect for summer evenings or special occasions.

Ingredients

1/4 cup fresh blueberries (plus more for garnish)

1 oz lavender simple syrup (made with sugar, water, and dried lavender)

2 oz gin

1/2 oz fresh lemon juice

Club soda or tonic water, to top

Ice cubes

Sprig of lavender for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Muddle the blueberries in a cocktail shaker until they release their juice.
  2. Add gin, lavender simple syrup, and lemon juice to the shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
  4. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
  5. Top with club soda or tonic water for fizz.
  6. Garnish with extra blueberries or a sprig of lavender.

Notes

Use botanical gin with citrus or floral notes for best flavor pairing.

Let lavender syrup steep longer for a stronger floral note.

Swap gin for vodka for a cleaner taste.

Use sparkling water instead of tonic for a lighter version.

Lavender syrup can be prepped in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
