Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup fresh peaches, peeled and finely diced (or well-drained canned peaches)
2–3 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Allow cream cheese to soften at room temperature for easy mixing.
- Peel and dice peaches into small chunks. If using canned or frozen peaches, drain thoroughly.
- In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese with honey, vanilla extract, salt, and optional lemon juice until smooth.
- Gently fold in diced peaches, keeping some texture.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tang with more honey or lemon juice if desired.
- Transfer to a serving dish or airtight container. Chill for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
Notes
Add cinnamon or nutmeg for a spiced variation.
Stir in chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch.
Purée peaches before mixing for a smooth version.
Swap peaches with nectarines or apricots if preferred.
Store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Not ideal for freezing due to texture changes.
