Description
Air Fryer Honey Garlic Chicken Wings are crispy, sticky, and flavorful wings cooked without deep frying. Coated in a sweet and garlicky glaze, they’re perfect for game day, parties, or an easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings (flats and drumettes)
1 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tsp water (optional, for thickening)
Sesame seeds and sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
- Pat wings dry. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Arrange in a single layer in air fryer basket. Cook for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
- In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.
- If desired, stir in cornstarch slurry and simmer until thickened.
- Toss cooked wings in the sauce until well coated.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
Add red pepper flakes or sriracha for spice.
Use teriyaki sauce instead of soy for a sweeter glaze.
Drizzle with lime juice for brightness.
Cook 3–5 minutes longer for extra crispiness.
Preheat air fryer and avoid overcrowding for best results.
